RYAN DART
Americana/roots
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
“His acoustic atmosphere is a long exhale on a busy day.”
Coming this spring! — Ryan Dart returns with his most honest work yet.
Farmer. Father. Musician. Painter. Dart’s music is rooted in the life he lives — love, loss, heartbreak, and hard work beneath the Rocky Mountains.
Born in Colorado and raised in rural Arkansas, Ryan’s sound blends the grit of country and the soul of rhythm and blues. Think Dylan, Cash, Van Zandt, Waits, Petty — with a touch of Fats Domino and Bill Withers.
After years touring with acts like Rose Hill Drive, Dinosaur Jr., and Ryan Bingham, Dart settled north of Denver to raise his son and start Dart Farms. His 2022 album Edge of the Wild showed his growth as a songwriter — but personal heartbreak followed. Now, he’s back with If Love Don’t Break You — a 14-song “Divorce Album” that dives deep into the emotional landscape.
Featuring Texas fiddle legend Richard Bowden and an all-star lineup including Nate Barnes, Daniel Sproul, Bridget Law, and Charlie Rose of Elephant Revival — this record balances sorrow with surprising joy. It’s raw, real, and fully human.

LONG BIOGRAPHY
Ryan Dart - New album If Love Don’t Break You, Spring 2026
“You can’t sing about needing rain unless you really know what it means to need it.”
Farmer. Father. Musician. Painter. Ryan Dart’s music encompasses the world he lives in, drawing inspiration from love, loss, heartbreak, and hard work in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains.
A fourth-generation Colorado native raised below the poverty line in western Arkansas, Dart was shaped by the songwriting giants—Dylan, Cash, Van Zandt, Waits, Petty—and the soul of old rhythm and blues. As a grandson of the Dust Bowl and steward of the land, his connection to the earth runs deep.
After years traveling the world through music—managing and working tours with Ryan Bingham, The Who, Bob Dylan, Van Halen, and Jack Johnson—Dart settled down to raise his son and start Dart Farms north of Denver. Around the time of the release of his 2022 album Edge of the Wild, his marriage ended, pushing him deeper into the emotional landscape of his songwriting.
Through the healing that followed, Dart emerged with a more refined craft. He has become increasingly involved in writing custom songs for film and television, bringing his authentic storytelling to a broader audience. Now he returns with his most honest work yet: 14 original songs featuring Texas fiddle legend Richard Bowden (Ryan Bingham, Terry Allen) alongside Nate Barnes (Ryan Bingham, Mary Chapin Carpenter), Daniel Sproul (Rose Hill Drive, Hard Working Americans), and Bridget Law and Charlie Rose of Elephant Revival. While tackling heartbreak and loss, the album surprises with upbeat love songs—showcasing Dart’s evolution as a songwriter unafraid to dig into the full spectrum of human emotion.
